The First Step for Getting the Kids Back to School

Tis the season for packing backpacks, lunchboxes, and kids onto school buses! It's an exciting time of the year for stay at home moms. However, because I do stay home, it's very important to my family that we get all of our school supplies at the best prices.
We usually start by flipping through the newspaper ads and getting an idea of what is needed and where to find it. Wal-Mart is always a favorite for basic things like crayons, markers, notebooks, pencils, and even that much needed box of tissue. You can't go wrong when you can get a box of 24 Crayola crayons for a quarter! Target has always got a great selection of whatever is hip and cool in the backpack department and at reasonable costs. JCPenney can always be counted on for great sales when it comes to the newest fashion craze. By the way, don't leave home without your Kohl's cash because you know you will be sure to stop in there as well.
Finally, after all the research is complete, it's time to load up the kids and begin the back to school shopping adventures. Grab my purse, my list, my keys, and a snack for the little one, don't forget to double check that the intrusion alarm near St. Petersburg is set on the way by, and we are off!
